Rough In Build For Your DIY Camper Van

Rough ins include insulation, framing, and running wires and plumbing lines. This gives you a solid foundation to work off of and finish the rest yourselves. We use high quality insulations like Thinsulate and Havelock Wool. All framing is secured to the van with metal screws and very strong glue. A strong base will allow your van to hold up over time, and greatly reduce the amount of squeaking and shifting of van cabinets over time. Rough ins usually take us about 1 week.
